Bringing Moral Clarity to U.S. Mideast Policy

Recently I sat down with Ben Domenech of the Federalist Radio Hour to discuss my new book, What Justice Demands: America and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. Though the discussion ranged broadly, a major theme was the issue of moral clarity. I discussed the need to rethink conventional moral assumptions about America’s stake in the Middle East; how the principle of individual freedom should guide our thinking and U.S. policymaking; and what it looks like to apply a principled approach to other foreign policy issues.
