A scientist who pivots to entrepreneurship and venture capital, then pivots again to a professorship in entrepreneurship? This, in a nutshell, is the story of Professor Steven A. Gedeon’s exciting and multifaceted career. Join us at the next ARI Member Roundtable for a discussion with Professor Gedeon, an entrepreneurship educator, angel investor, and technology commercialization expert.

Professor Gedeon teaches, researches, and publishes on the topics of career design, life design, and how positive entrepreneurial beliefs and attitudes contribute to happiness. As a scholar, he has published over one hundred articles, reports, and books, including Entrepreneurial Career and Life Design and Building an Entrepreneurial Mindset. Professor Gedeon teaches in Germany, Italy, and the UK and is Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Toronto Metropolitan University.

During the Roundtable, Professor Gedeon will share with us how Ayn Rand has impacted his fruitful career.

The interview will take place on Saturday, October 19, at 10 a.m. Pacific time / 1 p.m. Eastern time, followed by breakout rooms hosted by ARI staff and scholars, concluding with a free-form hangout session. The event will last approximately 90 minutes, with an additional hour for the hangout.
