The fall 2022 issue of Ayn Rand Today has been sent to ARI donors and members. The quarterly magazine documents little-known aspects of Ayn Rand’s life, her philosophy, and the Ayn Rand Institute’s educational initiatives to raise awareness of her ideas.
The latest issue is filled with rare content by and about Ayn Rand, while taking a personal, deep dive into Ayn Rand University’s programs.
- In 1962, the Los Angeles Times invited Rand to write a weekly opinion column. “Ayn Rand, Columnist: The LA Times Experiment” by Tom Bowden draws on the Ayn Rand Archives to describe this intense six-month enterprise.
- In the third and last installment of her essay “Moral Inflation” (reprinted from the Ayn Rand Letter), Rand examines the altruistic roots of America’s rapid moral decline.
- Agustina Vergara Cid describes her and other students’ firsthand experience auditing ARU courses. And a couple of sample assignments are included for readers to try.
- The unauthorized Italian film adaptation of We the Living, including Rand’s assessment of it, makes for a fascinating story.
Ayn Rand Today is mailed to donors and members of the Ayn Rand Institute and is available to them online as well. To become a supporter and enjoy more exclusive content by Ayn Rand and from ARI, click here.
