On December 19, students from across Israel will gather for AynRandCon Tel Aviv, an event bringing Ayn Rand’s ideas to one of the world’s most embattled centers of moral and political conflict.
The conference will feature Elan Journo, Aaron Smith, Nikos Sotirakopoulos, Tal Tsfany, and Boaz Arad. Together, they will explore how Rand’s philosophy of reason and individualism can empower individuals to live a purposeful, fulfilling life, secure from the threat of barbarism.
A major highlight of the event will be a livestream interview with Mosab Hassan Yousef. Born the son of a Hamas cofounder, Yousef risked his life to renounce the totalitarian organization and defend the values of freedom and human life. The interview — conducted by Elan Journo — will be streamed live on ARI’s YouTube channel on December 19 at 3:55 a.m. PT / 6:55 a.m. ET.
This conference builds on ARI’s longstanding support for Israel and its moral right to exist. From Elan Journo’s What Justice Demands to our extensive commentary on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, ARI has consistently argued that defending freedom and civilization against those who seek their destruction requires unwavering moral clarity rooted in rational principles.
Join us in Tel Aviv, as we continue to champion the ideas that make freedom and human flourishing possible.
