“A change in a country’s political ideas has to be preceded by a change in its cultural trends; a cultural movement is the necessary precondition of a political movement,” Ayn Rand wrote in her first issue of The Objectivist Newsletter. In order to change the culture, we need philosophical ammunition, and there is no better ammunition than Rand’s own work. This is why we are thrilled to announce a new paperback edition of The Objectivist Newsletter, Rand’s first periodical.

The Objectivist Newsletter is a 224-page volume containing essays written between January 1962 and December 1965, some of which remain unprinted elsewhere. The volume’s contents include deep and timeless analyses of politics, ethics, and cultural commentary as well as reviews of books and answers to wide-ranging questions submitted by readers, on topics such as whether humans have instincts or how Objectivists should think about patents and copyrights. The volume is a great choice for both long-time students of Objectivism and those who have just started their journey with Ayn Rand’s ideas.

The paperback edition of the periodical can be purchased here, and the hardcover here. If you are interested in a bundle of all three periodicals in hardcover (The Objectivist Newsletter, The Objectivist, and The Ayn Rand Letter), you can go to our eStore.
