There was an ARI conference in Austin? Sorry I missed that. I have to think that most of the blame for 9/11 rests with the FBI and other socialist-corrupted IC who allowed it to happen so that they could justify greater incursions into American privacy and therefore freedom. The answer to who attacked is the same as usual—the socialists. They merely abused some Islamic organizations into helping them that time.
“Notice how the Charlie Hebdo attackers — like so many others — screamed “Allahu Akbar!” (God is great!), adding that they were avenging the Prophet Mohammad.”
This is a quote under the heading of:
It’s an ideological movement deeply rooted in Islam
The translation of “Allahu Akbar!” here to “God is great!” is wrong.
On page 126 and 128 of Yahiya Emerick, What Islam is all About, First Printing: July 2014. (Printed in USA: Noorart, 2014). ISBN-13 9781933269160 (This is a more recent version of Emerick’s book than the reference in Coughlin’s MS Thesis referred to below.)
Allahu Akbar(also shown in Arabic script on these two pages) is translated as: Allah is the Greatest. In essence: Allah (my God) is better or greatest than your God.
Information on Emerick’s book:
“What Islam is all About is different from the other sources used because it is neither a text of Islamic law nor is it written by an authority. What Islam is All About remains a best selling English language Islamic school text for junior high level students in the United States since its initial publication in 1997. While other editions have been published in the United States, this paper uses the Fifth Revised Printing, June 2004. The author, Yahiya Emerick, is an American-born convert to Islam based out of Long Island, New York, who is widely regarded as a “leading Islamic children’s educationalist in the U.S.”136 Noorart Publishing appears to operate out of Richardson, Texas.137” This quote is on page 69 of (link follows on next line):

25 Years After 9/11: A Pentagon Analyst on the War We Never Understood
Twenty-five years after September 11, 2001, Dr. David Wurmser — the Navy reservist who walked into the still-burning Pentagon as one half of a two-man intelligence unit tasked with finding out who had just attacked the United States . . . explain[s] what Washington got wrong that day and has kept getting wrong since: the two assumptions about terrorism that collapsed on contact with the evidence, the networks that were never taken apart, and why the ideas behind the attacks still shape the Middle East today.
