Dissecting the Peterson Panel with Onkar, Greg and Yaron

Did you finish watching the Jordan Peterson event at Objectivist Summer Conference 2018 eager to learn more about the issues addressed there? Then you’re in luck because Yaron Brook hosted a follow-up discussion on his radio show with OCON panelist Greg Salmieri and the Ayn Rand Institute’s Onkar Ghate, dealing with a wide variety of issues arising from the panel.

Brook and his guests discuss such topics as free will, the “is/ought” problem in philosophy, methods of conceptual classification, Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris as philosophical thinkers, the importance of evolutionary biology, the purposefulness of cognition, the nature of reason, and the importance of stories in conveying moral principles. In each case, there is time during the show to highlight the Objectivist perspective on the subject.
