ARI Members are invited to our monthly Roundtable on February 3.

What’s the psychology of ambitious creators and startup founders? How can one build that? These are questions that Gena Gorlin explores in her work as a psychologist and as the writer of a popular Substack newsletter, Building the Builders.

Dr. Gorlin is a licensed psychologist, founder coach, and faculty member in the Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. She has also been a speaker at ARI’s Objectivist summer conference.

I’m excited to welcome back Dr. Gorlin as a guest speaker at the next ARI Member Roundtable. We’ll discuss her research and writing on the psychology of “ambitious people looking to build.” We’ll also talk about her current projects, what she has learned working with tech founders, and how Ayn Rand’s ideas have influenced her work. The event will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time / 10:00 a.m. Pacific time on Zoom. The breakout rooms for informal chat will be hosted by ARI staff and scholars.

Invitations have already been sent to current ARI Members.

If you’d like to attend this Roundtable as well as upcoming events in the future, consider becoming a member.
